Akuna Seaplanes has bases in Port Macquarie, Ballina, Pacific Palms, and the Sunshine Coast. We operate aircraft ranging in size from the Amphibious 5 passenger Cessna 206, to the 3 passenger Cessna 172 floatplane.
Using these aircraft we can cover a large portion of the East coast of Australia, providing Seaplane Charter, Scenic and Adventure flights, and also Seaplane endorsement training for pilots who want to enhance their skills and employability.
Our pilots are fully qualified specialists in seaplane operation, with over 15 years industry experience ranging from bush flying in the Northern Territory, to Boeing 737 aircraft with Australian domestic airlines.
We combine our focus on safety and professionalism with an adventurous spirit and relaxed Aussie style, to give you a look at the stunning scenery along the East coast, from the best vantage point available.
From these scenic locations we are able to provide an interesting and exciting variety of scenery and flying conditions, for one-off flyers and experienced pilots alike.
From mountainous and rugged hinterlands, with plunging waterfalls and deep gorges, to the tranquillity of coastal inlets and river systems, we can offer sensational opportunities for spotting wildlife such as whales and dolphins, and exploring the natural environment.
